Lovely Day

Since becomming a mum I have never spent so much time in the park. Good job we are surrounded by nice parks.

On Friday we went to Dulwich Park, to make the most of the lovelyish weather. Technically it is at the end of our road but really it is a good 20mins walk there. We met up with Gem, FoJ and Tora for whippersnappers in the gingerbread house (AKA College Lodge). We had not been before but now Lil T is 1 he needs a bit more entertainment. It was really good but Lil T was a little bit unsure what with it being his first time but I know he is going to love it - lots of singing and dressing up.

Then onto lunch in the Pavillion which is lovely and mainly full of other Mothers and small children (I loath the term Yummy Mummy, but this is Dulwich after all!) followed by swings!

Although it only takes 20mins to get to the park it takes about 40 to get home up a massive hill. One problem with living in Crystal Palace (Highest point in London dont you know?) is everything is up hill at some point!
Luckily the walk is a nice one up the quietest road with huge houses and trees to look at

Oh and the beautiful Dulwich College.
