Just love this...

I have just seen these amazing Pantone Queens over on http://rachaelgibson.co.uk/ and just had to steal them. There are 60 Queens in 60 colours taken from actual outfits she has worn over the diamond years. I love all of the creative ways companies are marking the Diamond Jubilee (even if it was a few weeks ago I still have jubilee fever - it lasts the whole year right?!?)

Summer for just one day!

What a beautiful day. Old Tom had the day off so we headed to the park with Gem, Fo-J and Tora. Now Lil T is running around he really appreciated the amazing new playground and when it got too hot (I never thought I would say that this summer!) the paddling pool.

I just love this sequence of photos - it sums up Toms excitement of splashing around in his vest.

New Beginnings

So now I have handed my notice in and officially become a full time mum (eek!). Little Tom is nearly one (my how time has flown) I thought it was about time I did some of the things I had planned a year ago.

Firstly set up my Etsy shop - mylittlecherrypie.etsy.com - tick. Well I have listed a few items but need to make it look pretty - so a little way to go.

Secondly become a blogger mum - I have looked at blogs for a while, style blogs at lunchtime have evolved into lifestyle blogs in the snatched moments when Tom is entertaining himself.

Thirdly get the house in order - I am not the best at house work and have lots of ideas about how the house should look but am a bit of a procrastinator. For example Little Toms room has beautiful paper pompoms on the ceiling and pictures (admittedly some not hung yet) on the wall but still has our spare bed in it (although that has something to do with his terrible sleeping but more on that later). Now my job title is housewife I want to (no need to) keep the house tidy(ish) but also make it a more beautiful place to spend time.

Fourthly (is that right? just sounds wrong) Entertain the boy - So far we have been to the usual singing at the Library (Ours is called Waggle and Hum - isn't that cute!), One o'clock clubs and circuits around the park. but now Tom is walking and climbing and generally full of energy and excitement I want to do more to stimulate his growing brain - any suggestions?

And finally cuddle the cat - I think we both miss the lazy hours cuddled up together, at the moment she is lucky if she gets 10 minutes whilst the dinner is cooking!

I know, not really revolutionary stuff but this is me I hope you will be my friend.
